The “Formazione Donna” project concluded at the end of May. It consisted of three intense and valuable months of training, listening, and shared growth to facilitate participants’ integration into the world of domestic work.
The project represented much more than a simple professional development program, and its realization was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Anemon – Aiutare nel Mondo ODV with the Franciscan Sisters of Susa, who hosted the students and teachers at their headquarters in Turin, and the Nuova Collaborazione association, which handled the teaching.
During this period, we saw in the participants a desire to learn, sincere enthusiasm, a desire for dialogue, and the ability to share and integrate. The goal we set ourselves from the beginning goes far beyond teaching practical skills: What is truly important to us is the creation of a human support network, an environment where every woman can feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to believe in herself and her own possibilities again.
In an often challenging context, Formazione Donna aims to be a concrete tool for women’s inclusion in the community, achieving economic independence, and genuine social integration.
It’s a project that speaks of dignity, listening, and acceptance. We firmly believe in all of this, we hope it represents a beginning, and we hope it can truly open new opportunities for many others..
