The missions of ANEMON ODV take place in contexts of social welfare need. They are aimed at improving the conditions of so-called vulnerable populations. We are looking for qualified healthcare and technical staff to engage in missions where it is not possible to find local experts.
The contexts in which the missions take place require experience, adaptability, the ability to interact in the context and with the work group. The mission is to bring the maximum possible benefits into consideration and respecting local limits.
Requirements
- Volunteers with TECHNICAL ABILITY, SOCIAL SENSITIVITY.
- Availability of at least 4 weeks
The ANEMON volunteer bears all travel and insurance expenses and the time he dedicates is that of his own holidays. Hospitality is offered by the missions. Anemon takes care of the coordination and organization of the trip.

Objective
Help local staff to effectively carry out their action towards all those who need it. We help them by training them professionally and intervening in the specialties they are unable to perform. Volunteering is only meaningful if it brings real help to the hospital and not if we leave because of our need “to have an experience!!” In this case it translates into an additional cost for the hospital, a disappointment for the underutilized volunteer and an exposure to the associated risks.

MEMBERSHIP
MEMBER – VOLUNTEER: Follow the project activities on an ongoing basis. Annual membership fee: €50.
