OBJECTIVE: The FORMAZIONE DONNA project represents a concrete response to the challenges women, particularly recent migrants, face in our country. Through training, we will give the women involved the opportunity to acquire a qualification that will open up new professional opportunities and contribute to their economic independence.

The crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic has highlighted two critical issues: one technical, due to the difficulty in quickly obtaining medical supplies, and the other due to the economic crisis that has affected many families.
Anemon has decided to intervene promptly through equity funds, crowdfunding, and the reduction of active projects abroad.

PHASE 1 – TO RESPOND to the NEED FOR INTENSIVE CARE BEDS we have provided Monitors and Defibrillators for the S. Luigi and Cottolengo hospitals
TO RESPOND to requests from OPERATORS and VOLUNTEERS without personal protective equipment We distributed 10,000 gloves – 3,000 masks – disposable gowns – disinfectants
PHASE 2 – SET UP and DISTRIBUTED 2000 FAMILY and CHILD PROTECTION KITS with PROTECTION, HYGIENE products and SHEET for prevention and use Washable masks, gloves, thermometer, disinfectant gel, household hygiene spray, diapers, disposable hygiene wipes.
Anemon is committed to helping those in need, even in Italy.
The inclusion of legal migrants and young people with disabilities in the workforce is one of the most challenging issues in our country. Inclusion relies on the ability to offer professional skills to help them find dignified work that allows them to be self-sufficient.
Since 2018, Anemon has funded job grants that have enabled these people in need to find work, for example at a renowned Turin pastry shop, an agricultural cooperative, an industrial laundry, etc.

3 nuns welcome former lepers and non-self-sufficient elderly people on the island of Fogo. Anemon supports the maintenance of 9 out of 14 elderly people.
A community center with a variety of initiatives, it supports education, which is a tool for fostering relationships with others.

ESPACO JOVEM
In the Pedra Rolada neighborhood of Mindelo, Ilha S. Vicente was founded by a Piedmontese Capuchin friar, Fra Silvino.
The community center, with its many initiatives, developed in a suburban area of Mindelo, where “youth disorientation” is a significant phenomenon.
The activities and support for schooling are a tool for developing relationships with others, a path to personal growth, and a means of responsible inclusion in society.
Anemon supports educational support for those in difficulty and the recovery of schooling for those who have dropped out.

The Center is located next to the church in the village of Tamare: it is a
large hall, a place for meeting and activities, not only for catechesis, but above all for education and cultural stimulation.
The soccer field is an opportunity to engage young people.
