A new surgeon has been hired at the Vohipeno hospital to replace surgeon Solange, who has returned to Cameroon. Dr. Naina, head of the hospital, is satisfied with the way this surgeon works. In our mission in October we will be able to work together and verify this new resource. In August we will be preceded by a mission led by a doctor and two medical students who will also bring with them some drugs that are out of stock and cannot be found in Madagascar. The improvement of the radiological equipment is also progressing, to make it easier to handle with digitalization and thus avoid the use of traditional plates as much as possible. We will keep you informed about the hospital’s activities and new missions.
